What is Tight Hip Flexor and Injury?

The tight hip flexor is a problem which doesn’t let you move your hip flexibly. You will feel pain while doing the normal movement. Mostly this can cause for leaving your muscle inactive for a long time.

Hip Flexor Injury occurs when one or more hip flexor is torn. The psoas and iliacus are the two muscles which are most often injured. When a smaller number of fibers is torn, the injury is relatively minor and does not impact function, although it is still painful but when muscles tear completely the injury is much more severe and can result in major loss of function in the leg.


Causes of Hip Flexor pain

Tight Hip flexors pain can be caused by overuse of flexor muscles weakness in supporting muscles or contraction that result in a tear. Sitting for a long period of time can also cause hip flexor injury because its forces hip flexor muscles contracted for a long period of time. The people who most likely to experiment hip flexor injury are-

What Pulled Hip Flexor Feels Like?

Pulled hip flexor pain feel in front of the hips. However, there are several other symptoms of pulled hip flexor, hip flexor pain come’s suddenly, increase pain when you lift your leg towards your chest, pain when you stretch your hips, muscle cramp at your hip or thigh, sensitivity to the touch at the front of your hip, swelling around your hip or thigh area.

Symptoms of a Hip Flexor Strain

There can be many tight hip flexors symptoms. If you are having any one of these symptoms, you will need to be alert and look for the proper treatment to cure it. Few of the symptoms of hip flexor are-
1)    You will have sudden pain on the hip or pelvis area.
2)    You may have a cramping sensation on the muscle of your upper leg area.
3)    You will have soreness on your upper leg area.
4)    While doing any activities like jumping or kicking, you will feel pain and inactiveness.
5)    You will feel inflexibility while moving your leg.
6)    More swelling will be felt while moving.
7)    Tightness will be felt while sitting or sleeping.

The pulled hip flexor is mainly caused when you use your hip flexor too much. As a result, muscle became sore and painful. If you want to get rid of the swelling and pain from the hip flexor, you should get proper treatment.
